Today is such a beautiful summer day (at least in my book – very cool, light breeze, with sun is how I like my summers!), I simply had to do something bright and clean with my make-up.
For skin, I went with my mixture of Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream in Fair and Smashbox Camera Ready CC Cream in Light. I changed it up a bit with my concealer today, though, since my under-eye area has been getting a little dry the past few days. To brighten my under-eye shadows, I used Fusion Beauty IllumiCover Luminous Concealer in Light, and on a couple of blemishes and around my nostrils, I used MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer in NW20. All of that was finished with Smashbox Photo Set Pressed Powder.
I primed my eyelids with Urban Decay Primer Potion and packed Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Virgin all over my lids from lashline to browbone. In the crease and very outer corner, I blended Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Naked. For a pop of bright, summery color, I lined my eyes with Tarina Tarantino Eye Dream Highlight Hyperliner in Spark of Envy, creating a smooth line with a tiny wing.
A few coats of Maybelline The Falsies Big Eyes Waterproof Mascara in Very Black on top and bottom lashes and some filling in of my brows with Maybelline Master Shape Brow Pencil in Blonde, and my eyes were done.
On my cheeks are MAC Sculpting Powder in Sculpt and MAC Sculpting Powder in Shadowy to contour, Urban Decay Afterglow Powder Blush in Score (discontinued) swept up from the apples of my cheeks, and Sephora Prisma Chrome Eyeshadow in Moon Beam No05 (limited edition) to highlight my cheekbones.
I let some Fusion Beauty LipFusion Lip Conditioning Stick in Clear (discontinued) soak in before applying another fun pop of color to my lips with NYX Extra Creamy Round Lipstick in Haute Melon. It’s a wonderful pinky-coral that is perfectly bright without being an actual neon.
