I was really feeling a purple eye today, with a bit of a smoked out feel to it. I even planned my outfit around the fact that I wanted to do purple makeup!
Starting with my skin, I used my mixture of Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream in Fair and Smashbox Camera Ready CC Cream in Light. To brighten my under-eye shadows, I used Fusion Beauty IllumiCover Luminous Concealer in Light, and on a couple of blemishes and around my nostrils, I used MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer in NW20. All of that was finished with Smashbox Photo Set Pressed Powder.
For my eyes, I wanted all-out, shimmery, smokey purple today. After applying a base of Urban Decay Primer Potion, I reached for Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Naked to lay down a transition color in my crease, around which I would blend everything else. I then added Sephora Collection Colorful Mono Eyeshadow in Aspen Summit (discontinued) to my inner corner and inner third of the lid. I then packed Urban Decay Deluxe Eyeshadow in Scratch (discontinued) onto the middle third of my lid before packing and blending Urban Decay Deluxe Eyeshadow in Ransom (discontinued) into the outer corner and outer crease. The last shadow I used today was Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Walk of Shame along my browbone. Lastly for eye color, I lined my lower lashline with Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Lust and smudged it out with more Urban Decay Deluxe Eyeshadow in Ransom (discontinued).
After a few coats of Maybelline The Falsies Big Eyes Waterproof Mascara in Very Black on top and bottom lashes and some filling in of my brows with e.l.f. Eyebrow Kit in Ash, my eyes were finished.
On my cheeks today are MAC Sculpting Powder in Sculpt and MAC Sculpting Powder in Shadowy to contour, a little bit of Urban Decay Afterglow Powder Blush in Score lightly dusted the apples of my cheeks, and Sephora Prisma Chrome Eyeshadow in Moon Beam No05 (limited edition) to highlight my cheekbones.
Lastly, for lips, I started with Fusion Beauty LipFusion Lip Conditioning Stick in Clear (discontinued) and let that soak in a while. And so it didn’t compete with the eye look, I then applied some Fusion Beauty InFatuation Lip Fattener in In the Flesh for some pinky-neutral glossy color.
