I kept my look classic and simple today, since I decided I wanted a focus on my lips after yesterday’s smokey eyes. After settling on a red gloss for the lips, I did a simple, slightly-winged black liner eye look.
It was also a bit cooler and drier today, so I wanted a more substantial moisturizer. I made a 50/50 mix of Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream in Fair and Smashbox Camera Ready CC Cream in Light. I like the lighter coverage of the BB Cream (the CC Cream is definitely more like a foundation and less like a tinted moisturizer), but I find the CC Cream is a bit more moisturizing. Additionally, the Fair tone is just a tad too light for me while Light is a smidge too dark, so an even blend of the two products suits me in all areas perfectly!
I then added some MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NC15 under my eyes and around my nostrils, blending well before finishing with a light dusting of Smashbox Photo Set Pressed Powder to hold everything in place and give an even, matte finish.
Urban Decay Primer Potion was my eye base of the day, and I kept the shadow incredibly simple: MAC Eyeshadow in Brule applied from the lashline up through the crease with a wash of Sephora Collection Colorful Mono Eyeshadow in Aspen Summit (discontinued) on the browbone. I then lined the upper lashline with Revlon Colorstay Liquid Liner in Blackest Black, drawing a clean line that gradually widened towards the outer corner and ended in a very tiny wing. The eyes were complete after a few swipes of Maybelline The Falsies Big Eyes Waterproof Mascara in Very Black on both the upper and lower lashes.
Like yesterday, I used Maybelline Master Shape Brow Pencil in Blonde to define my brows.
My skin got a bit of glow with some contouring using MAC Sculpting Powder in Sculpt and MAC Sculpting Powder in Shadowy, Urban Decay Afterglow Powder Blush in Score (discontinued), and Sephora Prisma Chrome Eyeshadow in Moon Beam No05 (limited edition).
Last, but certainly not least, the real star of the show were my lips. After a bit of Fusion Beauty LipFusion Lip Conditioning Stick in Clear (discontinued) was allowed to soak in, I coated them in MAC Lipglass in Ready to Roam (limited edition – Styleseeker Collection).
